Reflecting Christ in the World through the Arts 2 Corinthians 3:18
Students (K-12) at Community Christian Academy have the opportunity to participate in a variety of Fine Arts courses in Visual Art, Music, Drama and Speech. Visual Art courses are taught in an art studio context to allow students to develop their own creativity in art expression. Music (Bands, Guitar, and Chorus) courses teach theory, develop musicianship and performance skills. Drama and Speech classes are taught to develop students’ abilities to express themselves through the spoken word whether in a play, debate or a speech. Each Fine Art area is integrated with historical facts and master works throughout the course. Each student has the opportunity to compete in the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) Festivals each year. Other opportunities are the Christmas program, the Blue Ribbon Celebration, Talent Showcase and the end of the year programs. The Marching Cougars perform in a number of parades throughout the community.
